Founder's Legacy
Mirchandani Group was founded in 1986 as Shalimar Developers by Shri Harish C Mirchandani (fondly known as Bhau Mirchandani).
Bhau Mirchandani had humble beginning. After the India partition he was stranded in a divided country and forced to leave everything behind to restart his life in a new city. He ventured into multiple businesses before finding his passion of construction.
He founded the group in Bhopal, India and along with this sons was able to grow it and become the largest real estate developer in the city. They created the city’s first private housing project. Soon they would go on to build Indore’s first residential township and since then the company has been redefining community living.
The ethos he has imbibed in the business are even followed today after more than 30 years. Transparency, Trust & Team Work are the principles on which the company continues to work today.
Bhau Harish Mirchandani always believed in doing good and giving back to society. Its with this thought that he founded the Mirchandani Charitable Trust which post his demise continues to carry out the works in according to the charter set by him.
Today Mirchandani Group is a 3rd generation business and is an ode to the previous generations who have worked religiously to grow the organisation.
